About Dr. Ma
With over 15 years of experience, I provide expert physics and mathematics instruction from the AP level through advanced graduate coursework. I hold a Ph.D. in Physics from Brown University and am an award-winning instructor. My teaching philosophy connects mathematical techniques directly with physical reality, helping students understand exactly where formulas come from rather than relying on memorization.
Originally from Hong Kong, I completed my early university training there before continuing my academic career in the United States. I am fully fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese. For bilingual students, difficult concepts can be discussed across languages to build clearer physical intuition.
